Day 1: Delhi: Arrival at the Delhi international airport, welcome by our representative.

Arrival at the Delhi international airport, welcome by our representative. Arrival at the Delhi IGI international airport as per your flight schedule. Welcome at the airport by our representative and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: Delhi / Mandawa

After breakfast, we will drive to Mandawa, a small village in the Shekhawati region famous for its fresco-painted havelis and royal palaces. The Havelis were houses decorated with frescoes of various patterns, which belonged to wealthy merchants doing business on the Silk Road in central Asia. Check in to the hotel in Mandawa and visit Havelis.

Mandawa is a small principality in the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan, which was once a rich center for trade and commerce as the region was a highlight of the Silk Route. There was a flourishing commerce and trade in the region, due to which, the region was popular among the merchants coming from far eastern regions. It gave the opportunity for the region to flourish and grow. We still find luxurious houses or more commonly known as Havelis in the region, decorated with mural paintings depicting the lifestyle of the people in the early 19th Century. Some of them are converted into beautiful heritage hotels.

Day 3: Mandawa /Fatehpur / Bikaner:

In the morning drive to Bikaner. Check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon visit Deshnoke Karni Mata Temple (Karni Mata temple is famous for its sacred rats). Back to Bikaner and in the evening free walks to explore the Havelis of Bikaner, Bhandasar Jain temple, and its bazaars.

Bikaner is a city with its typical desert fragrance, which has its own style and culture. Here we can find a first glimpse of rural Rajasthan, which you will notice easily in the costumes of people, with colorful lehengas and chunris (typical Rajasthani style dresses for women) and large colorful turbans on the heads of Rajasthani Men.

It has its own attractions including 18th Century Junagarh Fort, and palaces like Laxmi niwas and Lallgarh Palace. The legend of Deshnok Rat temple is also widely known and each year it brings thousands of tourists from far-off regions of India. In Bikaner, one can visit the famous camel breeding farm as well.

Day 4: Bikaner / Ramdeora / Jaisalmer:

In the morning visit Junagarh Fort in Bikaner, built between 1589 and 1593, one of the only fort in India which was built on the ground. After the visit drive to Jaisalmer. On the way, visit the temple of Ramdeora, known for the deity Baba Ramdev revered by the local desert people. Check in at the hotel in Jaisalmer. In the late afternoon, visit Bada Bagh (royal cenotaphs) and enjoy the sunset over the Thar Desert. Evening a free walking tour to explore the bustling markets inside the Jaisalmer fort.

Jaisalmer is situated in the Thar Desert in Rajasthan, known for its golden color houses made of local sandstone, that’s why it’s known as a golden city. It is another jewel in the tourism destinations of Rajasthan, attracting visitors from all around the world. Its major tourist attractions are the Golden Fort, Jain temples with exquisite architecture, and the remarkable Patwa & Salim Singh Haveli, which are worth visiting. It has markets full of different artifacts, which makes it heaven for shoppers. Its golden sands also attract visitors, and they can go and experience the local village life of the desert.

Day 5: Jaisalmer:

Visit the Golden Fort (Sonar Kila) built in 1156 by the Rajput ruler Jaisal, the Patwa-ki-Haveli, Salim Singh-ki-Haveli, Nathmal-ki-Haveli, and Jaisalmer Jain temples.

In the afternoon depart for an excursion in the Thar Desert. On arrival welcome by locals with a welcome drink. Enjoy the camel ride or Jeep as per your choice in the Thar Desert (Sam village 40 km from the city) on the dunes till sunset. In the evening enjoy a traditional dance program presented by gypsies with traditional dance, music, and dinner. Return back to Jaisalmer for the night.

Day 6: Jaisalmer / Jodhpur:

In the morning drive to Jodhpur. Check-in at the hotel in Jodhpur. Visit the Mehrangarh fort, known as the “magnificent fort”, overlooking the city from the top of the hill. Then Jaswant Thada Memorial dedicated to Maharaja Jaswant Singh II built in 1899. In the evening, explore the bazaars of the old city (Clock Tower) with their local spice shops.

Jodhpur is the second largest city in Rajasthan and is also known as the blue city. The city also has some old heritage buildings, like Umaid Bhawan Palace, which is now a luxury hotel and private residence of Maharaja of Jodhpur, and has served as a destination wedding venue for several famous people in Rajasthan.

Day 7: Jodhpur / Jojawar

In the morning drive to Jojawar, a picturesque village situated between Jodhpur and Udaipur. Check-in at the hotel in Jojawar. In the afternoon take a ride through the picturesque Aravalli Mountains on a local train that takes you into the heart of the most beautiful forests and mountains of Rajasthan. This trip is also an opportunity to get in touch with local people, always curious to know visitors from the world over. Evening, a walk in the village of Jojawar to explore local life.

Day 8: Jojawar / Ranakpur / Udaipur:

Drive to Udaipur. On the way, visit Ranakpur Jain temple, Chaumukha Mandir, the temple with four entrances and 1444 columns beautifully sculpted. Check-in at the hotel in Udaipur. In the evening, enjoy a traditional dance and puppet show of Rajasthan at Bagore ki Haveli.

Ranakpur Jain temple – This is a remarkable example of temple architecture in Northern India of the 16th century. This temple shows the prosperity and richness of the region in its columns carved out in white marble.

Day 9: Udaipur:

Udaipur, also known as “The Venice of the East” is the most romantic city in Rajasthan with lakes and palaces in the backdrop. In the morning visit the City Palace museum and Jagdish Temple dedicated to lord Vishnu. In the afternoon explore the local markets of Udaipur famous for its miniature paintings and local artifacts. In the late afternoon, a boat rides on Lake Pichola to enjoy the sunset over the lake.

Udaipur is also known as the city of lakes, as there are about 7 big and small lakes. The Udaipur city palace complex is the largest palace complex in India comprising City Palace, Fateh Prakash Palace, Shiv Niwas Palace, Lake Palace, and Jagmandir Island. The narrow streets of the old city were cleverly shown in James Bond’s film Octopussy.

Day 10: Udaipur / Chittorgarh / Bundi :

In the morning drive to Bundi. On the way, visit the largest fort in Rajasthan: Chittorgarh Fort. Check in to a hotel in Bundi. In the afternoon visit of stepwell “Raniji ki baori” decorated with sculptures & the royal cenotaph of 84 pillars.
Bundi is a small rustic city, which comes often in the narration of Rudyard Kipling’s stories. There are attractions like Bundi Palace and Taragarh Fort, with their typical Bundi-style paintings known all over Rajasthan. The Rani ki Baori stepwell is also worth visiting.

Day 11: Bundi / Jaipur

In the morning visit Bundi Palace and then drive to Jaipur. Check in to the hotel in Jaipur and visit the Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal). In the evening, explore the old town also known as the “Pink City”, and visit the temple of Laxminarayan.

Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan is also known as the Pink City of India. This city is famous for its sprawling markets, lively people & magnificent palaces. On each corner of the city, you will find some attractions, thus markets specialized in jewelry, statues, clothes, spices, and everything that you can think of.

The city attracts thousands of visitors from far horizons and keeps the hustle and bustle of this 18th Century city going on. Major attractions of the city are Amber Fort, an astronomical observatory founded by Raja Sawai Jai Singh, commonly known as Jantar Mantar, Wind Palace, Lake Palace, etc…

Day 12 : Jaipur:

Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan founded by the astronomer King Jai Singh II between 1688 and 1743. Visit the Amber Fort and climb the fort on an elephant’s back or by foot / Jeep. In the afternoon, visit the Astronomical Observatory (Jantar Mantar) and City Palace. Walk in the bazaars of the “Pink City” and discover its historical markets.

Day 13 – Jaipur / Fatehpur Sikri / Agra :

In the morning drive to Agra. On the way, visit the fortified city of Fatehpur Sikri. It was the imperial capital of the Mughal Empire from 1571 to 1584. Built by Emperor Akbar, and perfectly preserved since its abandonment, it is a remarkable testimony to the Indo-Islamic architecture of the 16th century. On arrival check in to the hotel. Visit the Agra Fort, one of the most beautiful Mughal-style forts built by Mughal emperor Akbar in 1565. In the evening visit the bazaars of the city of Agra.

Day 14 – Agra / Delhi:

Early morning start your visit to the Taj Mahal for its views on sunrise. It is one of the best times to visit the Taj Mahal as it is less crowded. After the visit back to the hotel for the breakfast drive to Delhi. On arrival check in to the hotel. In the afternoon enjoy the visit of Lodhi Gardens also known as the garden of Afghan princes. Evening leisure at the hotel.

Day 15 – Delhi:

Delhi is one of the oldest and newest cities in the world. Discover the contrast between Old and New Delhi on a day tour. In the morning your tour will start with a visit to the biggest mosque in Delhi, Jama Masjid, and the vibrant markets of Chandni Chowk. In the afternoon visit the famous Humayun’s tomb and the Qutub Minar. In the evening your driver will drive you to the international airport for your onward flight.
