Day 01: Mumbai:

Arrival at the Mumbai Airport, welcome by our local representative and transfer to your hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Mumbai local sightseeing

After breakfast in the morning, a full day sightseeing in Mumbai. Visit the Gateway of India, Elephanta Caves the Hanging Gardens, the Prince of Wales Museum, and Marine Drive. Overnight stay in Mumbai.

Day 03: Mumbai – Lonavala :

After morning breakfast, drive for Lonavala. On arrival check at your hotel. Lonavala is a picturesque hill station nestled in the Sahayadri mountain ranges of Maharashtra. Popular as the health resort, Lonavala is situated at a height of 625 mts, about 96 km from Mumbai and 62 km from Pune. In the afternoon, visit Karla and Bhaja Caves which have been found to be of Buddhist origin. These caves are believed to have been built as far back as 200 BC. A huge Buddhist stupa said to be more than 2200 years old, is one of the major draws of the caves. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Lonavala – Khandala – Lonavala

After breakfast, leave for Khandala. Visit Bhushi Dam & enjoy the refreshing environment of Khandala. Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Lonavala.

Day 5: Lonavala – Matheran

After breakfast, drive to Matheran. On arrival, explore the serene surroundings. Visit popular points like Chouk, Panorama, Louisa, Garbut Point, and Echo. Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 06: Matheran – Nasik

After breakfast in the morning, drive to Nasik and on arrival check in at your hotel. In the afternoon, a sightseeing tour of Nasik covering Sunder Narayan Temple – Sita Gupta Caves – Trimbak. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07: Nasik – Shirdi – Aurangabad :

After breakfast, drive to Aurangabad. On the way visit the holy town of Shirdi famous for its temple of saint Sai Baba. The temple including the premises is around 200 Sq.mtrs. Sai Baba lived here till the last minute of his life. On arrival check-in at your hotel. Aurangabad, situated in the central part of Maharashtra is one of the most visited travel destinations in India. Today, Aurangabad is also emerging as an industrial center, with silk fabrics as the major industry. Aurangabad city is the central point for tourists who wish to visit Ajanta and Ellora Caves. However, Aurangabad has its own share of Buddhist caves, carved from a hillside in the 7th century A.D.
The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 8: Aurangabad -Excursion to Ellora Caves

After breakfast, leave for an excursion to Ellora caves, a World Heritage site. These 34 caves, built during the 6th and 11th centuries are dedicated to Buddhism, Brahmanism, and Jainism. Popular sites here are Viharaas, Kailasa Temple, and the Buddhist Vishvakarma Chaitya. Return back to Aurangabad for an overnight stay.

Day 9: Aurangabad – Excursion to Ajanta Caves

After breakfast, leave for an excursion to the Ajanta caves, a World Heritage Site. These 29 caves, built during the 2nd century and 6th centuries are dedicated to Buddhism. Located in the Sahyadri hills, it has paintings and sculptures depicting the life and teachings of Lord Buddha. After an excursion to visit Ajanta caves, return to Aurangabad and evening free at your hotel.

Day 10: Aurangabad – Pune

Departure for Pune. On arrival check-in at your hotel. After breakfast, a guided city tour of Pune visiting The Aga Khan’s Palace, Bund Gardens, Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum, and Shaniwarwada. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 11: Pune – Mahabaleshwar

After breakfast, drive to Mahabaleshwar and arrive in Mahabaleshwar in the evening and spend the rest of the time at leisure. Overnight stay at Mahabaleshwar.

Day 12: Mahabaleshwar

Full day visiting The old Mahabaleshwar Temple of Mahabaleshwar. For nature lovers, Mahabaleshwar offers several waterfalls. You can visit the Lingmala waterfall, Chinaman waterfall, and Dhobi waterfalls. The hill resort of Mahabaleshwar has as many as thirty vantage points to enjoy the beauty of nature. Wilson Point happens to be the highest in Mahabaleshwar. You must not miss the splendid view of the sunrise from Wilson Point. Overnight stay at Mahabaleshwar.

Day 13: Mahabaleshwar – Mumbai

After morning breakfast, drive for Mumbai and on arrival transfer to the airport in time to board the flight for the onward destination.
