Booking your trip

India Travel Etc offers you to create your customised tours to India. To get your tailor-made tour program, you must submit your inquiry through our website or by phone. As soon as you confirm this the tour with us, within its period of validity, you can register, by accepting our terms & condition. A tour is considered confirmed by India Travel Etc once we receive the booking advance & contract signed by the client.

Payment Terms

The customer must pay a deposit of 30% at the time of booking and the balance on the dates indicated in the registration form. If the customer does not pay the price of the trip within the time limits set in the contract, India Travel Etc keeps the right to cancel the trip.

How you can pay for your trip to India:

  • By international transfer or in cash on arrival in India.
  • By Debit or credit card (3% extra charges applicable on this mode of payment)

As soon as you have paid the deposit 30 % or the total price of your trip, if applicable, India Travel Etc will send you an invoice for the amount paid and balance to be paid if any.

Travel Information

The information communicated in these terms & condition to all travellers travelling with India Travel Etc.
The completion of administrative and health formalities and any costs relating to these formalities are the sole responsibility of the customers.

All people traveling, regardless of their age (babies, minor children, etc.) must have an individual identity document bearing their name (passport depending on the country of destination). No other document such as family booklets or residence permits allows you to enter India. A visa is mandatory to travel to India.

Customers must ensure long enough before the departure date that the first and last names appearing on the travel documents (visa, tickets, vouchers, reservations, etc.) correspond exactly to those appearing on their identity document and on their visas.

A travel to India require that the passports must be valid for more than 6 months after the return date or that customers carry enough money with them and be able to show that they have a return ticket.

All costs relating to obtaining documents, visas and vaccines are the responsibility of the customer.

If the client is refused boarding or disembarking due to non-compliance with administrative and/or health formalities, no refund can be initiated and any additional costs (purchase of a new flight ticket, fines, etc.) .) will remain at his expense.

Information on safety and health risks

India Travel Etc advises you to consult the India travel advisory issued by your government.

Health risks: We invite you to regularly consult the information disseminated by the competent authorities of your country on health risks in India and to follow the recommendations and health measures to combat these risks.

Changes asked by the traveller in their tour plan before departure
Once the form has been signed, not modification is allowed in the trip without an extra payment.

Any modification of an element of a trip occurring after signing the contract form and before issuing the transport ticket(s), will be invoiced 5% of the amount of the modified services with a minimum of 50USD per file. Any modification of air or ground service or any request for modification by the customer of the name or part of the spelling of the name of a customer, after issue of the ticket, will be considered as a cancellation and the tickets will be reissued at an extra cost.

Cancellation and Refund

If the customer is in obligation to cancel his trip, he must inform India Travel Etc by any written means (mail or letter) and get an acknowledgment receipt from India Travel Etc.

The insurance premium, registration fees, visa fees and cancellation fees more than 60 days before the departure date are not refundable by India Travel Etc.

Our cancellation fees are as follows (except in special cases)

For all services other than air fairs

  • More than 60 days before departure: 20% of the price of the trip per person (with a minimum deduction of USD200 per person)
  • From 59 to 31 days before departure: 30% of the price of the trip per person (with a minimum deduction of USD200 per person)
  • 30 and 21 days from departure: 70% of the price of the trip per person
  • 20 and 15 days from departure: 80% of the price of the trip per person
  • 14 and 8 days from departure: 90% of the price of the trip per person
  • 7 days or less before departure: 100% of the price of the trip per person
    Special cases:
  • 100% cancellation fees upon registration on cruises or certain exceptional luxury hotels, in particular for all exclusive India Travel etc accommodations.
  • 100% cancellation fee for all air tickets issued from the date of registration.
  • When several customers have registered on the same file and one of them cancels their trip, the cancellation fees are deducted from the amount collected by India Travel Etc for this file, regardless of who made the payment.
  • In the event of cancellation, for any reason whatsoever, the costs outside the trip reserved with India Travel Etc and incurred by the customer such as, transport costs to the place of departure of the trip and return home, costs of obtaining visas, travel documents, vaccination costs cannot be reimbursed in any way.

AIR TRANSPORT

Airlines companies:

  • India Travel Etc will inform you the about the name of airlines for your domestic flights.
  • In case of modification, after your registration, India Travel Etc will inform you of any changes in the timing, cancellation or change in the name of airlines.
  • Airlines do not refund the amount of the fuel surcharge for non-refundable airline tickets.

INSURANCE

India Travel Etc does not offer any travel insurance. It is strongly recommended to take your travel insurance before your departure.

PRICES

Upon signing the contract, the price is firm, final and in USD or Indian rupees. However, in accordance with the law, we reserve the right to modify the price in the following conditions:

  • Variations in the cost of transport, linked in particular to the cost of fuel.
  • The variation of fees and taxes relating to the services provided such as landing, boarding and disembarkation taxes.
  • The exchange rate applied to the trip during the calculation of your quote.

In the event of a price change for the cases referred above, India Travel Etc will inform the customer by mail no later than 30 days before the date of departure.

Ground Services

Services not used/modifications:
Services voluntarily modified by the customer while in India are subject to modification costs. Additional or replacement services resulting in an additional cost must be paid directly according to modifications asked. Services not used while travelling (transfers, excursions, accommodation, etc.) will not be refunded.

RESPONSIBILITY

India Travel Etc cannot be held responsible for the consequences of the following events:

  • No show at the check – in or no – presentation of identity and/or health documents that are out of date or of insufficient validity (identity card, passport, visas, vaccination certificate, etc.) or that do not comply with the prescribed formalities, at the customs or immigration office. In the event of failure to check-in (including for delay in boarding), 100% of the total amount of the trip will be retained as cost.
  • Incidents or unforeseeable and insurmountable events of a third party not in power of India Travel etc such as: wars, political unrest, strikes, technical incidents, airspace congestion, bad weather, delays (including delays in courier services for the transmission of travel documents), breakdowns, loss or theft of luggage or other effects. The delay or delays incurred resulting from the cases referred to above as well as any itinerary modifications that may result therefrom may not result in any compensation for any reason whatsoever, in particular due to the modification of the duration of the program initially planned. Or delay in connecting. Any additional costs related such incidence (tax, hotel, parking, etc.) will remain the responsibility of the customer.
  • Cancellation imposed by circumstances of a force majeure and/or for reasons related to customer safety and/or by order of an administrative authority. India Travel Etc reserves the right to modify the dates, times or planned routes if it deems that the safety of the traveller cannot be ensured.

COMPLAINTS

As a customer, your complaint should be addressed in writing to
India Travel Etc – Customer Service – India Travel Etc, Moti Nagar West, Habib Marg, Jaipur 302021 Rajasthan, India as soon as possible after your return from the trip, accompanied by the supporting documents. In the event of a problem encountered during your travel in India, we ask that you contact us as soon as possible by telephone or email so that we can intervene to resolve that problem.
