Detailed Program :

Day 1 – Delhi – Arrival at Delhi International Airport

Morning or evening: Arrive at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport where our local representative will warmly welcome and greet you. After checking in to your hotel, unwind and prepare to embark on your ‘India’s Tigers and Lions Safari Tour.’
A visit to Delhi will be proposed according to your arrival schedule at Delhi International Airport.

Day 2 – Delhi: – Sightseeing of Delhi

Morning: After breakfast at your hotel, begin a tour of Old Delhi, with the famous Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque built by Shah Jahan, the Mughal emperor also responsible for the construction of Taj Mahal. With its courtyard capable of holding 25,000 devotees, the mosque is an architectural marvel.

Afternoon: Visit Humayun’s Tomb, often considered the inspiration for the Taj Mahal. The tomb is set within a beautiful garden, laid out in the Persian Char Bagh style. Then, head to Qutub Minar, a five-storey victory tower with intricate carvings and verses from the Quran inscribed on its walls.

Late Afternoon: End the day with a drive past India Gate, an iconic war memorial, and take a moment to appreciate the grandeur of Rashtrapati Bhawan (the Presidential Palace) from the outside. These landmarks offer a taste of the city’s British colonial history blended with modern Indian governance. Return to your hotel for a restful evening.

Day 3 – Delhi / Agra:

Morning: After breakfast at your hotel, drive to Agra, the city most famous for being home to the iconic Taj Mahal. A drive through the mega highway reflects the changing image of the Indian infrastructure.

Afternoon: Upon arrival, check into your hotel and time to relax. In the afternoon, drive to the Red Fort, this red sandstone fort was the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty until 1638. Inside, you’ll find a maze of courtyards, mosques, and private chambers.

Late Afternoon: Spend some time shopping at Agra’s local bazaars. The city is known for its fabulous handicrafts, made of marble and softstone inlay work. The Mughals were great patrons of arts and crafts, and this is reflected in the city’s marketplaces.

Day 4 – Agra / Fatehpur Sikri / Ranthambore :

Morning: Early in the morning depart to visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise to capture its marble facade reflecting the evolving hues of the sun. The monument is a symbol of love built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Back to hotel for the breakfast.

Late in the morning drive to Ranthambore National Park. On the way visit Fatehpur Sikri, an abandoned Mughal city. Highlights include Buland Darwaza, the 54-meter high entrance, and the Tomb of Salim Chishti, adorned with intricate marble screens.

Evening: Arrive at Ranthambore and check into your hotel. Enjoy a relaxing evening amidst the wilderness.

Day 5 – Ranthambore:

Morning: Set off on an early morning game drive in Ranthambore National Park. Keep your eyes peeled for the majestic Bengal tiger, as well as other wildlife like leopards, deer, and several bird species. Later in the morning back to the hotel to relax.
Afternoon: Another game drive in the national park. This time, focus on the park’s rich birdlife, including eagles and flamingos.
Evening free at your hotel.

Day 6 – Ranthambore / Jaipur:

Morning: Embark on your final game drive in Ranthambore. Capture the last few wildlife shots for your album.
Later in the morning, drive to Jaipur, also known as the Pink City. Check into your hotel and then head out to visit the iconic Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds. This five-story building with 953 windows offers incredible views of the city below.

Late Afternoon: Visit the Laxminarayan Temple, commonly known as Birla Temple. This modern marvel made entirely of white marble, contrasts with the historic temples you’ve seen so far. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and his consort, Lakshmi, and you can see various carvings depicting mythological events. If time permits, you can assist with the evening puja ceremony at the temple.

Day 7: Jaipur – Sightseeing

Morning: After breakfast at your hotel dead to visit the Amber Fort, a fusion of Mughal and Hindu architecture. Don’t miss the Sheesh Mahal, a room adorned with thousands of mirror tiles and colored glasses. The fort also houses Diwan-i-Aam, the Hall of Public Audience, featuring a double row of columns with elephant-head brackets.
The way back to Jaipur, a brief halt to visit from outside the Jal Mahal situated on lake Mansagar.

Afternoon: Later explore the City Palace complex, which includes the Mubarak Mahal, now converted into a costume gallery displaying royal attires, and the Chandra Mahal, offering panoramic views of the city. Next, visit Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory that houses 19 architectural astronomical instruments.

End of the Afternoon: Walk around the local bazaars of Jaipur, such as Johari Bazaar, famous for precious gemstones, and Tripolia Bazaar, known for its ironware, utensils, and trinkets.

Day 8 – Jaipur / Ahmedabad (by flight):

Morning: After breakfast transfer to Jaipur airport to catch your flight to Ahmedabad.

Afternoon: On arrival, welcome by our local representative and transfer to your hotel in Ahmedabad. After some rest, start your Ahmedabad tour with Siddi Saiyed Mosque, renowned for its intricate jaali (lattice) work.

Evening: Stroll along the Sabarmati Riverfront. Enjoy a boat ride on the Sabarmati River and try local snacks from riverside vendors.

Day 9 – Ahmedabad / Gondal:

Morning: After breakfast at your hotel drive to Gondal, a small village on the way to Sasan Gir National park from for its Asiatic Lions.

Afternoon: On arrival check in to your hotel and time to relax.

Evening: Optional: Take a guided evening walk around the royal palaces, learning about the history of Gondal’s Maharajas.

Day 10 – Gondal / Gir:

Morning: After breakfast at your hotel, depart to visit Naulakha Palace, a festival of stone carvings and balconies. Explore Orchard Palace and the royal garages, which house an impressive collection of vintage cars.

Afternoon: Drive to Gir National Park, the last sanctuary in the world for the Asiatic Lions.

Evening: Arrive at Gir and check into your forest lodge.

Day 11 & 12 – Gir National Park:

Morning: An early morning game drive. Your naturalist guide will help you spot lions, leopards, and other exotic animals.

Afternoon: Return for lunch at your lodge. Optionally, attend a wildlife photography workshop hosted by a professional.

Evening: Venture out for another game drive, this time focusing on bird-watching. Gir is home to a variety of indigenous and migratory birds like the Paradise Flycatcher and Painted Stork.

Day 13 – Gir / Palitana:

Morning: After breakfast at your hotel drive to Palitana, famous for its Jain temples situated on the Shatrunjaya hills.

Afternoon: Visit the Jain temples at Shatrunjaya Hill. Visit the Chaumukha or the four-faced temple and marvel at its intricate carvings.

Evening: Return to your hotel in Palitana. Enjoy a sunset view from your balcony and reflect on the journey so far.

Day 14 – Palitana / Bhavnagar / Mumbai (by flights):

Morning: After breakfast drive to Bhavnagar to catch your flight to Mumbai.

Afternoon: Upon arrival welcome by our local representative check in tour your hotel. In the late afternoon explore the colonial architecture in the Colaba area, particularly the Gateway of India and the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel.

Evening: Free time. Consider a dinner at one of Mumbai’s rooftop restaurants for panoramic city views.

Day 15 – Mumbai & Departure

Morning: After breakfast visit the key landmarks like the Gateway of India and the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Afternoon: Explore the Dhobi Ghat, an open-air Laundromat. Then visit the Prince of Wales Museum, which showcases art, sculpture, and ancient artifacts.

Evening: Transfer to Mumbai International Airport to catch your flight back home.
