First built like a garden house in 1835, it was converted into a hunting lodge in 1887 and in the early 20th century was extended into a palace. And today, it is a luxury heritage hotel with 78 suites.

3. Samode Palace, Jaipur

Built as a fort in the 16th century, this place was later transformed into a palace. This was refurbished in the early 19th century by Rawal Berisal and at that time it had influences from both Muslim and Rajput architecture.
